یومِ ترویہ
The 8th of Dhu al-Hijjah, when pilgrims travel from Makkah to Mina to begin the Hajj rites.
یومِ عرفہ
The most important day of Hajj. For non-pilgrims, fasting this day expiates the sins of the previous and coming year.
عید الاضحیٰ
The Festival of Sacrifice, commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام to sacrifice his son for Allah. Marked by Eid prayer and the sacrifice (Qurbani).
ایامِ تشریق
The three days following Eid al-Adha. Pilgrims complete the rites of Hajj; fasting on these days is prohibited.
